Orange Clay Tajine

A Tajine is a large heavy weighted cooking pot with a conical lid. Typically, stews with vegetables, olives, lemon, garlic, spices, fish, and meat are cooked in a Tajine. Made of earthenware and beautifully glazed, this Red Clay Tajine is an ideal size for single serving dishes. The dome shaped cover is designed to promote the return of condensation to the bottom of the pot. Once cooked, the lid is removed and the Tajine can be taken to the table for serving.
