Malachite is reminiscent of a Byzantine past filled with dark basilicas, lofty coffered ceilings, inlayed surfaces shimmering in the candle light, and towering pillars suffused with smoke and incense. A new scent to Fornasetti, Malachite's scent has grown from inspiration taken from the vibrant crystallized mineral (a semi-precious stone crafted for centuries). Rich earthy top notes such as pine, clary sage and galbanum, are blended with the smoky warmth and depth of cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood and amber.
