A visual marvel, this Fornasetti Architettura Negativo candle is in the classical trompe-l'oeil décor inspired by a Roman Ampitheatre "floodlit" from within and illustrated on the candle with real gold. The term ’trompe-l'oeil’ is an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create an optical illusion, transforming a 2-D object into something that appears to exist in 3 dimensions. The perspective, shading, and aid of the gold leafing creates an optical illusion. Created by master perfumer Olivier Polge the Otto scent is the core of this collection; a sophisticated and unique scent with top notes of Mediterranean herbs such as thyme and lavender mixed with orris and cedarwood. It has strong earthy bass notes of Tolu balsam, birch and labdanum. Made from 100% pure vegetable wax, this candle is free from pesticides andamp; allergens.
