Pillow Talk - Throw Pillows 101

Looking to upgrade your décor? Throw pillows are an excellent resource for adding new and exciting elements to your living room or bedroom. Committing to a particular color, shape or size pillow can be challenging. We created a few easy-to-follow guidelines to get you on the right track! 

1. Work from the outside in. 
Anchor your corners with large, square pillows. This creates a strong compositional foundation as you build towards the center. 

2. Incorporate Stripes and Patterns. 
Don’t be afraid to mix it up! Layer with smaller, more exuberant throw pillows.  

3. Three is better than Two
Odd numbers are visually more appealing. Your center pillow is what adds final touch. Choosing a different shape is also a good move.
